As a new feature, users can now compare the different previous versions of an article with the current draft. In addition, the ability to edit multiple articles simultaneously has been added to the project overview. This will save a lot of time in administrative tasks in the future.
Compare versions of an article
To have a better overview of the aspects you have changed in your current article, you can now compare it with any previously saved versions. To do this, you can open the "Versions" tab in the editor on the right-hand side and select the version you want to use for the comparison. Using the "..." icon, you can now compare your draft with this selected version. This opens the comparison mode, in which you can restore the selected version in the header bar or exit the comparison view. In addition, you will see the R-Score of the comparison version on the left side and a drop-down menu that can be used to switch between the different versions. On the right side, the R-Score of your current draft is displayed. In the text area you will find a colored legend in the upper right corner. According to this, the added, deleted or stylized (e.g. reformatted) content is highlighted in the text to be able to distinguish it.
Faster organization of multiple articles
As a user of the platform, you can now select multiple articles in a project to edit them. The advantage of this feature is that changes that apply to multiple articles can be made together. This is accompanied by a great time saving in the administration of the project. In order to use the functions, a selection box has been added to the article list in a project for each article on the left side. Users can use it to select individual articles and use the "Action" button to access all options in the drop-down menu. The following options are available for selection:
- assign an item(s) to another user: when your mouse hovers over this option, a list of all team members opens in a drop-down menu. From them you can select a member to whom the item(s) will be assigned. After that, the menu will close automatically.
- change the status of an article(s): using the dropdown menu you can choose between the following status messages: Explore, Briefing, Editor, Release, Publish, Done.
- export article(s): users can choose to export briefings as pdf or docx and full articles in html format or directly for WordPress.
- delete one/more articles: articles that you have previously selected will be removed from the project after reconfirmation.
If an option is to be performed for all articles in the project you can select all articles via the box in the upper left corner of the overview.
