The two main metrics visibility and volatility can be used to measure the extent to which the ranking of the page has changed as a result of the core update.Visibility is a metric compiled from various search factors to measure the visibility of a website in the search engine results pages (SERPs). Websites with high visibility rank for more search terms and thus generate higher clicks and impressions. Volatility refers to how much visibility increases or decreases. High volatility means strong activity, which often indicates an algorithm update.
